ABOUT KERATIN:
The method I use involve Keratin as a bonding agent, I prefer keratin to hair glue, as in my experience the keratin bonds better to the hair. Therefore resulting in less extensions slipping out.
Keratin is a protein found in everybody's hair and nails and is completely natural. Because no harsh chemicals or glues are involved, a strand test is therefore not required meaning allergic reactions are exceptionally rare.
ABOUT REMY OR CUTICLE HAIR:
Remy or cuticle hair is human hair which has all the cuticles facing in the same direction. This is essential for glossy shiny hair that does not tangle when brushed. Remy hair has been through minimal chemical processing, which means that it is still very healthy, stong and hard wearing.
CHEAPER HAIR EXTENSIONS:
Cheaper hair extensions are generally collected from different peoples' hair brushes and are therefore not "cuticle correct."
The hair is then put through heavy chemical processing which generally removes most, if not all the cuticles. The hair is then coated with a silicone or silk solution. Although the hair is soft and glossy to begin with, after it is washed, all the silicone or silk is removed leaving behind bad quality heavily processed hair. This type of hair will matt, tangle and clump together looking completely un-sightly, and making it completely obvious that you are wearing hair extensions.
SO BEWARE OF PEOPLE OFFERING REALLY CHEAP HAIR EXTENSION SERVICES... If it seems too cheap to be true, then it probably is!!
AT HOME:
Because I come to do your hair at your home, it means that you do not have to endure hour after boring hour staring at you own reflection in the hairdressing salon.
You can watch tv, get a drink or something to eat as and when YOU want. I dont even mind if you wish to smoke. It can be an extremely boring process, so being at home can definitely help with this problem!!
